Wish it would be reliable

Love the sounds, hate the reliability or lack there of. I have tried everything I could to follow all the directions to make sure the alarm would sound. Unfortunately, most of the time, the app shows "Rise and shine" but no sound went off. When it works correctly, I get notifications banners(they are turned on) and the beautiful sound goes off. Most of the time however, theres no sound, no notification, and only inside the app does it show that it went off. I find that when you "test" it, it works just fine, but if you leave it set overnight, it doesnt work. I have made sure its the last app I see before turning off the screen. Tried emailing the developer, no response.
