Great idea – poor product.

Unfortunately, this really nice concept of a Zen alarm clock has some design flaws that make it effectively nonfunctional. It doesnt work unless your phone is active and The app is in the foreground. (so, if you were doing something like reading on your Kindle app as you went to sleep, this app wont to be active, and wont wake you up.) It doesnt work if your phone is in the "do not disturb" mode. So basically unless youre actively using your phone, this alarm clock wont wake you up.
Wish I could find a way to get the money back guarantee – but that too seems to be a function that doesnt work.
